Great Things Are Happening at Chandler Park
Introducing The First Chandler Park Ninja Warrior Challenge Camp
Warrior Program at Chandler Park! Inspired by the show American Ninja Warrior, this program Detroit, MI- June 30th 2016- The Build Health Challenge will kick-off its Chandler Park Ninja will teach kids ages 10-13 how to build and create their very own obstacle courses. The program will be led by Louise Ogadinma, a certified personal trainer with experience training youth in our city.
Chandler Park Ninja Warriors is an 8-week program which will operate from July 9th thru August 27th that teaches youth how to create and master different obstacles, all made with toys and items that can be found at home. The purpose of the program is the encourage children to play outside while teaching them fun ways to get in shape and maintain their fitness. At the end of the program, participants will be split into two teams and compete for the title of Chandler Park Ninja Warriors.
The BUILD Health Challenge is designed to encourage communities to build meaningful partnerships among hospitals and health systems, community-based organizations, their local health department, and other organizations to improve the overall health of local residents.
