AWARD

$1000.00 will be given to graduating male high school seniors with demonstrated academic ability and community service.

$500.00 book scholarship will be given to college undergraduates 

 

Review Process 7/1-7/30, Recipients Notified 8/8, Scholarship awarded September 2025 at Annual Prayer breakfast.

REQUIREMENTS

Þ Active community service,

Þ Acceptance to an institution of higher learning, Historically Black Colleges, and University will have priority,

Þ Cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or above (4.0 scale)

Þ High School Students must live in the City of Detroit Michigan.

Þ College Student must be   attending a Michigan College or University

Interview by the PHI BETA SIGMA FRATERNITY, INC., XI BETA SIGMA CHAPTER Scholarship Committee.

PHI BETA SIGMA FRATERNITY, INC., XI BETA SIGMA CHAPTER must receive the application and all accompanying material listed below on or before June 22, at 11:59 pm.

Please complete form and upload information.  Applications that are incomplete or received after the due date will not be considered for funding. Decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final. Your application was not successful if you have not heard from the committee by Setpember 1, 2025.

• Official Transcripts

• College Acceptance Letter(s) or College Class Schedule

• One-page letter introducing yourself and sharing your experiences and aspirations.
